Bonjour,
Just a reminder to bring PE strip on Monday.
Science: Review (e.g. write out or "teach" friends/siblings/parents) the vocabulary for biology as we will be having a quiz on Wednesday. Also, be prepared to come back to our Mt. Tolmie ecosystem discussion from today as we look at the biodiversity on the mountain and introduced/native species to the area.
Maths: if you are one of the few people who did not complete math homework (finding percentages) ensure that the handout from Thursday is completed for Monday. Also, please tackle the following questions as review (don't forget to estimate):
a) 38% of 45,83
b) 27% of 125,60
c) 25% of 478,12
d) 14% of 28,45
Sciences Humaines: I am still missing a couple of Ancient Egypt posters. Please be prepared to stay in at lunch or stay after school Monday to complete these if they are not submitted on Monday!

Maths: finish math questions from class today (finding percentages) as we will go over them tomorrow morning. Remember strategies (using benchmarks like 10% and 50%...)

I)
a) 30% of 62$
b) 40% of 75$
c) 70% of 75$
d) 55% of 36$
II) Steps: Estimate, do multiplication calculation showing work, add decimal where logical and follow rule --count digits after decimal and place decimal accordingly going right to left in answer). What do you notice about parts I) and II).
a) 0,3 x 62
b) 0,4 x 38
c) 0,7 x 75
d)0,55 x 36
Science: Review water cycle and talk to parents about what you learned yesterday (discussion on how deforestation can impact infiltration/run-off etc and how precepitation levels are impacted by elevation etc.) Review vocabulary also in preparation for a quiz next Wednesday on biology vocabulary.
Bonne soirée,
Mme Couture

Bonjour,
Just a reminder that the Social's project was due today. If you have not completed drawings or still need to finish a portion of the writing, it is essential to bring everything on Tuesday so that you can submit the poster. Please plan to work during LOL to finish if you have not completed the work by Tuesday.
Maths: there will be a quiz Tuesday on the division of decimals. Review by practising questions from the review sheet (please do not just look over questions). Doing more questions for practice will help build confidence and consistancy. Be prepared to draw some division questions and also to solve problems. Try the following for extra practice (we will go over them on Tuesday morning):
a) 26,8 divisé par 0,4
b) 58,6 divisé par 3
c) 124,5 divisé par 0,5
Don't forget PE strip on Tuesday for Fitness Studio!
